Finding the right counsellor for you
Through my own experience of finding a personal counsellor, I understand that the decision to seek counselling can be a daunting one. By reaching this website you have taken the first step.
The most important thing when choosing a counsellor is that you find someone who you feel comfortable and at ease with. Only then will you feel safe enough to share your story and open your heart with honesty.
The mind is like water. When it is turbulent it's difficult to see. When it's calm, everything becomes clear.
I will provide you with the warmth, trust, unconditional acceptance and support you need, working at your own pace, to explore your thoughts and feelings, so that you can find a more satisfying and fulfilling way of living and being.
Face to face sessions allow us to meet in person in my therapy room at Room4Healing. You will be well supported within this safe, comfortable space. Face to face sessions help us to connect and become attuned to each other more quickly.
Online counselling gives you the opportunity to access counselling support at a time and in a place, which is convenient to you.
It is important that this type of counselling is right for you and what you are experiencing, so rest assured that I will advise you if face to face counselling, or some other form of support might be more suitable for you.
I use Zoom for my online sessions, which is a safe and secure internet platform on which we can see each other and talk in a face to face way.
